The Somerset County Business Partnership has successfully brought together two municipalities, Somerset County, the
Somerset County Regional Center Partnership, and the business community to present implementation of the Route 22
Sustainable Corridor Plan to our federal elected officials as our highest priority for federal transportation funding. This
effort has resulted in $9.4 million dollars in federal commitments to short term traffic safety and congestion management
improvements to the Route 22 Corridor. The Business Partnership works closely federal, state, local, and regional
entities responsible for highway and mass transit infrastructure to insure that employees have safe, efficient, and reliable
